Dark appeal settling into my breath,

Just like some,

But unlike the rest.

Soft and rough,

Smooth and coarse,

Young passion and energy,

From an age old source.

Romantic mystery,

Read page by page,

To the ear,

Of an undying sage.

Forever to live,

But one life to give.

Solitude sound,

Heard all around.

Exhale,

As you tighten my soul.

Taking,

Parts of me to be whole.
